THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Rascal is a 3-5 year old male Rat Terrier mix who found himself in a local shelter, picked up by Animal Control as a stray. He was not claimed by his family and entered rescue. As Rascal is so new to rescue, we are still learning his personality but one thing we do know for certain, he is very athletic and can scale a standard height chain link fence. Rascal will be a great addition to a family or single person, who has a 6 foot privacy fence or can walk him multiple times daily for exercise and potty breaks. He appears to be house trained and will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations at time of adoption. The suggested adoption donation for Rascal is a minimum of $500 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information

Story
Lola has been a member of our family since she was born 8 years ago. Lola is an 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier / Chihuahua Mix and still has tons of energy!! She was apart of a litter that the owner could not keep them. She has been a cuddle all the way, which is apart of why I am having to rehome her. In 2024, I had a baby and adjusting to having a baby in home has been stressful for her. The baby is now a 2 year old rambunctious toddler and I cannot share myself enough with either. With Lola being a lover, it has become difficult for her to understand and I would love to rehome her to someone who can love her just as much as she loves you. I can't give her the attention she deserves and I think she deserves that at the least.

Story
Arlo is a loving 6 y/o smooth fox terrier mix. We rescued him as a ~1y/o and now he's well potty trained, follows basic commands (sit, stay, go bed, go kennel, come) at home, and walks well on leash with minimal pulling - unless he finds a strong smell. He's a smart, big sniffer who loves to cuddle and hidden treats/reat puzzles. He can be shy at first, but a good game of fetch or tug will win his heart. He loves car rides, pupcups and going to big department stores and street markets, and prefers dog parks for sniffs instead of zoomies with others. He can maintain moderate- high energy play, thriving more from mental stimulation than physical, but for mostly he's calm, observant and chill - struggles with being alone/separation anxiety. Going through life-changes, housing moves, and unable to meet Arlo's needs with current busy schedule and circumstances. Looking for a home that can accomodate his loving nature and needs.
