Story
Meet Opal—the lighter-brindle beauty of our precious brindle sister duo! Opal and her sister, Olive, are eight-month-old brindle babies who were abandoned at a shelter and left waiting for someone to rescue them. Olive is the darker of the two, while Opal wears the lighter brindle coat. Much like her sister, Opal is petite, weighing only 29.8 pounds—but what she lacks in size, she makes up for with an enormous amount of love! Opal and Olive are nearly identical in personality: curious, affectionate, playful, and completely devoted to people. They enjoy the company of other dogs and get along wonderfully with every dog here on the property, but if given a choice, they will choose their humans every single time. These girls don’t simply enjoy human attention—they crave it! Opal has slightly more energy than her sister, but one-on-one, she is an absolute doll. She doesn’t meet a stranger and happily welcomes anyone willing to love on her. As you can see in her videos, Opal believes every new person has arrived specifically to swoon over her—and honestly, who could blame her? Opal is clean in her crate, doing amazingly well on a leash, and is incredibly eager to learn. She has been around my children and does wonderfully with them. There is not a mean bone in this sweet girl’s body! Sometimes Opal becomes so excited to see her humans that her entire body turns into one big uncontrollable wiggle. Because of that happy, energetic enthusiasm, we would use caution placing her with infants or very small toddlers whom she could accidentally jump on or knock over. It would never be out of aggression—she simply has so much love and excitement inside her that it takes her a moment to settle herself! Opal is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventions. She is ready for a family who will adore her as deeply as she will adore them. This beautiful girl has already experienced what it feels like to be left behind. Now she deserves to learn what it means to be chosen forever. If you’re looking for a petite, gorgeous, joyful, people-loving companion who will greet you with her whole wiggly body, Opal may be your perfect girl. Her $500 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY.  She is currently fosterd in La. ##2823678##

Story
You’re going to LOVE Olive! If you’re searching for a petite little adventure buddy with a heart overflowing with love, Olive may be your girl! This beautiful brindle baby is only 8 months old and 29 pounds—the perfect compact size for playtime, snuggles, and tagging along wherever life takes you. Olive came to us with her equally adorable sister, Opal. These brindle beauties are playful, energetic, and absolutely crave human affection. Olive would happily trade you a lifetime of loyalty for a few belly rubs—and perhaps a treat or two! When Olive first arrived, she had no idea what a leash was. But this smart girl has been practicing and is improving more and more every day! She may be a little bashful in unfamiliar situations, but give her a moment, speak kindly, and offer a belly rub—and that sweet, playful personality quickly begins to shine. Olive is extremely loving and child-friendly and has been wonderful around the children in her foster home. However, once she feels comfortable, she becomes an enthusiastic little wiggle worm who sometimes forgets to keep all four paws on the floor! She may accidentally jump on or knock over a very small child simply because she is so excited to love them. For that reason, she may be best suited for a home with children who are steady on their feet and comfortable with a playful, energetic puppy—or a family willing to continue teaching her calm greetings around little ones. There is absolutely no meanness behind it; Olive just has so much happiness inside that she hasn’t quite learned how to contain it yet! Olive has gotten along wonderfully with every dog on our property and keeps her crate clean. She would make a wonderful companion for an active family who will include her in their adventures and give her all the love and attention she has been waiting for. 8 months old Only 29 pounds Spayed Up-to-date on vaccines and preventions Dog-friendly Extremely child-friendly Crate-clean Learning to walk nicely on a leash Professional belly-rub enthusiast Certified wiggle worm Olive is beautiful in pictures, but they still don’t capture just how special she truly is. She is ready to trade rescue life for a family of her very own. Could you be the one who gets to say, “Olive you forever”? Her $500 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation frpm Louisiana to NY.  She is currently in La. ##2823673##
