Story
Memphis is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Memphis is approximately one and a half to two years old and 15 pounds. She was rescued from our local Atascosa Shelter. Memphis is just a fantastic dog. She walks wonderfully on leash, she has pretty good potty manners, listens well, loves everyone and is super social, adores attention, and is just so happy to be a part of the day. She does have a bit of energy and she does like to bark at the cats and squirrels. We believe Memphis is a rat terrier mix although I do not think she would actually hurt the cats or small rodents. It is probably best she is in a home without cats or small rodent animals such as mice or bunnies, as I cannot 100% guarantee that she would not try to chase them. Memphis has been with all of the dogs and she loves to play and meet new friends. She is great with kids but does like to jump up on you for attention, we are working on this. Therefore, young toddlers just learning to be steady on their feet may not be the best idea unless you can be devoted to some training time. All in all Memphis is an awesome dog and she really is a social butterfly. She will bark at strangers but as soon as that strangers gives her an ounce of attention they are bffs. Memphis is a bit of an attention seeker. She is confident and always the life of the party. Memphis is going to be an absolutely fantastic dog for someone that likes to get out and go for walks or is active, or wants to take their dogs to events such as coffee, shops, lunches, or farmers markets. Memphis is a good cuddler and also has her downtime and enjoys being with her humans even if it’s just sitting on the couch however she does have some energy and will need a yard or to be taken for several walks a day, she is not a couch potato Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. Story
Rags may be little but he sure is mighty! This feisty little guy was rescued from a high kill shelter. He is looking for an active family that can give him lots of daily exercise and training. With his favourite people he will jump us for some pets and love. However, Rags is looking for an experienced home that will continue his training and management with resource guarding. Rags can bite when guarding food or objects. Due to this he will need an adult-only family who can work with our trainers to provide a smooth transition to his forever home. Although Rags is generally good with dogs he can be unpredictable with guarding around animals, so he would do best as the only pet in the home. His favourite things include going for long walks on sunny days, and running around in the yard. He is treat motivated and loves to learn new things with a clicker.

Story
Hello! My name is Beau!I'm an energetic fellow looking for an energetic family that will play and run with me! I am so smart, I love treats and will do almost anything for a good reward. I'm silly and fun, but I do seem to pull and bark on leash when I see people or dogs on walks. I'm excited to join a family that will enjoy doing training with me!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: No young children. Teenagers should be ok.OTHER DOGS: No, I don't seem to have great manners when meeting other dogs.CATS: No, given my energy and exuberance, I would be too much for a cat.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: No, I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended given my energy level. HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings due to my reactions on leash.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, however in the beginning I would do best not left for a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high.I'M ON A PRESCRIPTION DIET: No.HOUSE-TRAINED: No, I may mark inside in the beginning and will benefit from patience, training and frequent outings. If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the "adopt me" button to apply!
