Story
Meet Jax, a sweet, mild-mannered soul who is ready to be your loyal shadow. This "fantastic boy" has spent his life being overlooked, but once you earn his trust, you have a best friend for life.Jax is a total pro at foster life! He currently lives happily with other dogs and a small child. While hes an instant fan of women, he just needs a brief moment to warm up to men before hes ready for belly rubs and bonding.Jaxs foster parents introduced him to the joy of fetch, and now he cant get enough! Hes also a bit of a collectorwhen he first arrived from the shelter, he would sleep tucked in with his toys to make sure they stayed safe. After being left at a shelter fence and waiting six long months for a break, Jax is finally seeing how good life can be. Because hes a "low-drama," medium-sized guy, people often walk right past him. Weve promised him that wont happen anymore.Jax doesn't need a flashy story to be a great dog; he just needs a family to notice his quiet, loving heart. Story
Phantom first came into the shelter years ago as a stray. He was eventually adopted, but somewhere along the way, he ended up discarded again. Animal control received a call about a dog left sitting outside in a kennel. That dog was Phantom. He weighed only 12 pounds. Every rib, every hip bone, every vertebra visible beneath his skin. Starved. Weak. Forgotten. Yet somehow, despite everything humans had done to him, Phantom still loved people. Even on the brink of death, his tail still wiggled. Today, Phantom is thriving and ready to find the family he always deserved. He is a snack-sized little guy who fits perfectly in your lap and quickly makes himself at home wherever he goes. He LOVES food, loves cuddles, and gets the wiggliest butt when hes getting attention or kisses. His favorite thing in the world is simply being near his people. Phantom does well in a home environment, enjoys lounging nearby, and is happiest soaking up love and snacks like hes making up for lost time Spayed/neutered: yes Good with adults: yes Good with kids: yes Good with other dogs: yes Good with cats: TBD House trained: yes Crate trained: yes, but will bark when hungry/go out to potty Energy level: medium Can be handled/touched: yes Barker: occasionally Flight risk: no; however, all dogs should be considered flight risks in new environments Food aggressive: no Walks on leash: yes Leash reactive to people or dogs: no Rides well in car: yes Destructive: no Needs a home with a yard: no, but does enjoy one!
