Snap is a bundle of energy…until he’s not. He pretty quickly transforms into a lapdog cuddle-bug. He is a 2 year old Rat Terrier & has a lot of puppy in him & he has a big desire for you to tell him he is a good boy. He is a dog for the people, less so for dogs. Don’t get me wrong, he is friendly with most dogs, but he is a bully to others. To be specific, he turns into a ninja who talks a lot of crap he can’t back up when big…really big dogs are around. He has gotten more tolerant to being the smallest dog in the room and generally, pays more attention to me than he does any of the dogs. Snap is the kind of dog that will, with enthusiasm ,ride along with you in the car, follow your every step outside, and then come inside and curl up on the couch to watch a Lifetime movie. He’s down for any adventure but he will sleep in as long as you do.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Snap's adoption fee is $300. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fielder Harrison is a 6 year old Rat Terrier mix, he weighs 18 pounds.   Fielder was found as a stray with no owner to be found.  Its obvious he has been through a rough time recently.   He has a lot of wounds on his head and his ears are all torn up. Story
Zoe has been with me since she was 2 month. This will be a difficult process for me, but I recognize my lifestyle is changing. She is very energetic and will require an owner with an active lifestyle, but can enforce boundaries - something I did not do. She is accustomed to hiking, beach trips, road trips and overnight stays with friends. Loves people and dislikes other dogs - more of a fear aggression thing. A trained dog owner will be able to introduce her to other dogs. She does have allergies and would do well in homes without carpet. Main issue for me - Zoe is territorial and jealous with boyfriends that attempt to show affection towards me. I'd like to see her with a family or a home with multiple people residing there, but not a deal breaker. I do not believe this is the type of pet for someone needing emotional support.
