Story
Lady Mae is an adorable 1.5 year old female small mixed breed. She is a beautiful girl with a short tricolor coat. She weighs about 14 pounds and is fully grown. Her exact breed mix is unknown, but our best guess is rat terrier mix. Lady Mae was found as a stray by a good samaritan who rescued her and brought her to the shelter. She is currently in foster care in Texas, but is very happy to hear she was chosen to come to WI and find a loving forever family! Lady Mae is a sweet and friendly girl who loves to cuddle. As with any dog, she will need training to learn the routine at her new home. She is spayed, tested heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If she does not receive an adoption hold prior to his arrival in WI, she will be available to meet at our adoption events or by appointment with her foster family. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. We cannot guarantee breed or age. We assign breed and age designations based on veterinary advice and information from the prior owner.

Story
Tinkerbelle is a sweet, 7+ yr old female that will need a fenced in yard. She came to us a very neglected dog with health issues that we took care of including having mammary tumors removed, a hernia repair and a dental. She does have some special needs as she does suffer from minor focal seizures often lasting only a few seconds which do not require medication, and has 2 discs in her back that are compressed which can cause her occasional discomfort. Besides all of this, she is a great dog! Fully housebroken and crate trained, she is very polite and gentle, would be ok with one other small dog or with an owner that wants a great companion. She is good in the car, is not a barker and ignores cats. We are looking for a special owner who can overlook all of Tinks "quirks" and let her lounge with you on the couch. Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. The location of our Adoption Center PAWS at 7282 N. Cherryvale Mall Drive . Check out all of our adoptable dogs, cats and kittens on our website at www.pawshs.org. You can also contact us on our hotline: 815/299-PAWS.

Story
Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. An adoption application can be completed online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
