Pickles (22 lbs) and Rebel (13 lbs) are 8‑month‑old Heeler/Rat Terrier mixes who were rescued on June 22nd from a farm where they were at risk of being put down for not being good with birds. They likely lived in a barn kennel their whole lives, so indoor life—houses, baths, people, sounds—is all new. Despite that, they’re learning fast, doing great with crate training, gentle with our senior dog, and curious but not harmful with our cats. Deeply bonded, loving, and eager to trust, they need a patient, kind home. They’ve had their parvo shot and have been dewormed but need remaining vaccines. My goal is to find them the safe, loving home they deserve.
