Story
Goose is a stunning, smart, and deeply loyal hound who needs the right environment to thrive. We adopted him 2 years ago after he was found starving and wandering. At first, he seemed to have never lived in a home — he didn’t know couches or cuddling. Today, he happily lounges, cuddles, and sometimes sleeps in our bed. Goose is treat-motivated, knows commands, loves training games and scent work, and does best when he has a job. After daily activity, he has an excellent off-switch and typically sleeps from about 7pm–7am. NOTE: Goose requires a hound-experienced home. He has a history of resource guarding around high-value items & needs clear boundaries and management. He startles if touched while in deep sleep and should be woken verbally. He cannot live with or be around intact male dogs but loves a pack. Goose is vigilant and vocal, classic hound behavior. Our busy city with close neighbors and constant activity is not the right fit. He will thrive in a quiet, more rural environment

Leia (Lay-uh), is a 7 year old hound, she is spayed, has had basic training such as sit, stay, come, is house trained, and has been exposed to families with children and traveling and other animals. She also lives with her brother Luke from the same litter also photographed above named Luke. Ideally we are looking for a loving home for them together, but Leia is listed as she just needs more love and attention than our lifestyle can provide. No adoption fee, it is not about the price, it is about finding a kind and loving home for such amazing animals.

Story
Luke is a 7 year old hound, he is neutered, has been to a formal training program and has been exposed to families with children and traveling and other animals. Luke is listed as he just needs more love and attention than our lifestyle can provide. We are relocating out of our house and sadly not sure if we will be able to keep him with are family. No adoption fee, it is not about the price, it is about finding a kind and loving home for such amazing animal. Preferably a home with no cats if possible! As showed in the photo we do have 2 dogs and would prefer if they were able to stay together but we are open to all options.
