Story
Scooby is a friendly, sweet-natured mixed-breed dog, approximately 1-1/2 years old, with a sleek reddish-brown coat, white chest/blaze, and white paws. His build and coloring suggest Rhodesian Ridgeback and/or Redbone Coonhound ancestry, possibly mixed with Lab or Boxer, athletic, medium-large frame, floppy ears, and an expressive curled tail. Scooby started life as a stray puppy found at a park before being taken in by a caring family. He's grown into a big, energetic, affectionate young dog who loves attention and is eager to engage with people — he lights up around visitors and enjoys treats and interaction whenever he can get it. Due to a change in his family's circumstances (his size outgrew what they're able to manage alongside other pets in the home), he's in need of a new home where he can get the space, exercise, and companionship he craves. Scooby would do best with an active family who has room to let him run and time to give him the attention he's hungry for.

Story
Meet Cammie! After being one of the longest residents at Manteca Animal Shelter, an amazing foster stepped up and welcomed her to a new temporary home. She is very sweet but has to warm up when first meeting new people. Cammie can be playful with cats but as long as you tell her gentle she mostly knows to be careful. She loves to follow you everywhere and be wherever you are. She is very curious and wants to know what you’re doing or where you’re going. She sleeps right by our bed or in her dog bed. Really tends to gravitate towards women and likes men but takes a little more warming up for men than women. She loves to play and loves to be outside and looking and being curious everywhere. She would do really well with someone who can give her lots of love and play and just a little bit of time and patience to warm up to you. But once she does boy she’s a really awesome dog. Cammie has met dogs and cats. She does well with cats but is timid and shy with new dogs and takes a moment to warm up. Cammie has not met children but is suspected to do fine. Cammie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group and private training to help ensure a successful adoption.
