He’s learning that people can be safe, and he’s beginning to show his sweet, cautious personality to those he trusts. Walt will need adopters who understand that confidence takes time. He thrives in calm environments, appreciates predictable routines, and does best when allowed to approach at his own pace. He’s still an unsure dog, but with patience and consistency, he has the potential to form deep, meaningful bonds. Because sudden noises and fast movement can be overwhelming for him, Walt would likely do best in a home without children. What he needs most is a quiet place, a kind heart, and someone willing to help him continue his journey from fear to trust. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and watch grow, Walt may be the perfect match.Walt is a `Build the Bond` dog, which means he will require multiple meet and greets with potential adopters before going home.
