Story
Howdy y'all! We're the Sweet Southern Food pups! Our momma is a sweet hound dog who was found wandering in the woods while heavily pregnant, then she gave birth to us at the county facility. VOCAL took it from there and we were all raised in lovely foster homes where we've socialized with other dogs, started to learn manners and potty training! Obviously we are still puppies, so our new homes will need to continue working on our basic training and socialization. Our mom is a hound who weighs about 35 lbs, we don't know who dad was, but some of us look a little bit like pyranees, so maybe we'll be big dogs. We're not really sure, so be prepared for a full grown pup anywhere from 35 to 65 lbs! If you're for a little southern sweetness to add to your life, then give one of us a taste!

Story
We've had Cooper since he was 9 weeks old. He is great with children and loves to play. He gets uneasy around other dogs if they bark at him or if they show signs of aggression, but he has played well with other dogs who show gentle interest. He has lived inside and outside and enjoys both. He does not care to be crated (whines and barks). Cooper would enjoy a home with a yard to run in. He is a hound and very agile, so smaller fences will not keep him in. He comes with his dog bed, collar, leash, feeding mat, water and food bowl, food, treats, bones, and monthly flea/tick/wormer (whatever we have for him). Asking a rehoming fee of $50 to ensure he goes to a good home.

Story
I'm a 9-year-old hound girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for snacks. My absolute favorite treat in the whole world is popcorn. If you have popcorn, we're probably going to be best friends. I haven't always had the easiest start in life. I was found as a puppy alongside my mother and littermates, and I was the only survivor. Because of that, I've always been a little different and sometimes need extra patience and understanding. I'm a medium-to-large hound who enjoys the comforts of home. One of my favorite things is having a soft comfort blanket nearby. I like to carry it around and chew on it when I'm feeling relaxed or need a little extra comfort. Having my special blanket helps me feel safe. My family has loved me my entire life and wants future caregivers to know that I do best with people who understand that I can be a sensitive girl. I like routines, familiar people, and having my own space when I need it. Like many hounds, I enjoy using my nose.

Story
She loves any food she can get ahold of, but one of her absolute favorite things is popcorn. She needs her own blanket. It's a comfort for her. She will rip it to Swiss cheese, so she will need a new one every few months. As long as she has her own blanket she shouldn't mess with any others. The way she knows it's her blanket is you need to introduce it to her and play with it with her until she has ripped it a couple of times. She's very smart and she needs a lot of mental stimulation. She loves playing hide and seek with toys or treat or even with people. She loves to hug! This is something she taught herself years ago. If she wants a hug, you can get down to her level and she'll wrap her front paws around you and hold.
