Meet Scarlet, a redbone coonhound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She was found as a stray in Cherokee County, Alabama, alongside her sister's five puppies after her sister was tragically hit by a car. Scarlet was surrendered to Big Dog Ranch and is settling in quite well as she focuses on her health. Redbone coonhounds are known for their friendly disposition and strong hunting instincts. They are intelligent, energetic dogs that thrive on companionship and love to be active. Scarlet is eager to share her affectionate nature with a loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion ready to embark on new adventures, Scarlet would be the perfect addition to your home!

Story
Valerie is about 6 yrs. old and weighs 60 pounds. She’s a goofy happy girl who just wants to have fun! Sadly her dad has taken ill and is no longer able to care for her. She is looking for an active person or family that can provide her with the exercise she needs. She is dog friendly as well, but we’re not sure how she is with cats. She likes kids too but can be too rambunctious for little kids. Valerie’s adoption fee is $350.October 24, 2025, 12:53 am
