Izzy!     DOB: 1/2022     Weight: 60lbs   Hiya! I'm Izzy, your future best friend! I ended up in this shelter due to my 'over-enthusiasm' for gardening. My previous family didn't quite appreciate my talent for digging in the yard and wanting to play all the time. Oops! But hey, every dog has her day, right? I'm full of energy, always up for a game of fetch, a run in the park, or a squirrel chase. My curiosity knows no bounds! I could spend all day adventuring, then settle down for some cuddles in the evening. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and slightly mischievous addition to your family, I'm your girl!I know to go potty outside, and I do enjoy having a dog friend to run the roost with! Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. Bonded duoThese boys just recently lost both their parents; the adult kids dont want them and said they have to go! The kind neighbor has been taking care of them but is on a time crunch before the house is closed down before the sale. She shares that these two boys are absolutely the sweetest things and wants to see them go together. Story

Dixie was found dumped on a gentleman's property on a snowy, cold day. He spent weeks looking for her owner, but when he didn't have any luck, she was brought into the shelter. She is around 5-6 years old, underweight at around 47 lbs (up from the 43 lbs she weighed in January when she was brought in), and heartworm positive, but she still has plenty of pep. She loves people of all ages, and getting and giving attention. When she hears someone arrive at the shelter, she immediately stops playing, or sleeping, and comes to greet you with tail wagging. She knows the sit command and takes treats very gently. She has the trademark hound dog howl that she'll use when she's found something exciting to show you, normally her wet food waiting for her after her walk lol. She is friendly with other dogs, but she should be in a home without cats. Dixie has completed her month of doxycycline, and will be ready for her first heartworm injection on May 15th. Dixie is ready to get "fit" and happy in her new home.
