Story
EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. March 19, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
Meet Sedona, the fabulous four-legged wonder who decided life with a baby and toddler was a bit too much—who can blame her? One minute, she’s living the dream, and the next, she’s dodging flying toys and negotiating peace treaties over snack time! Now, don’t get us wrong, Sedona loves kids—specifically, the kid size that can walk and talk without needing a diaper change. The tiny ones? Well, they’re in a league of their own, and Sedona prefers her chaos avoidable, thank you very much. But good news! She’s the ultimate socialite when it comes to other dogs and has mastered the fine art of cohabiting with cats—like a true diplomat.Since her last stay with us, this girl has turned into a real knockout. Honestly, she could give runway models a run for their money. Sedona’s hobbies include pretending she’s a lap dog (despite being a gloriously majestic size), savoring those leisurely walks, and hanging out like a true couch potato. But fair warning—if you’re not offering her treats, you might find her pulling off some high-level ninja moves to swipe snacks right off the counters. She’s basically a furry little pirate on the lookout for treasure! So, if you’re ready for a partner in crime who can help you conquer snack time and join you on those lazy afternoon strolls, Sedona is your girl! Just be prepared for a little extra chaos and a lot of love—oh, and those snacks better be on lockdown!

Story
If you’re looking for a mix of beauty and brains, Meadow is your girl. At five months old, this Redbone Coonhound mix is in the prime of her "puppy discovery" phase. She’s high-energy, high-affection, and highly motivated to be your new best friend.Meadow is a total social butterfly who loves romping with other dogs and finds a fenced-in yard to be the ultimate playground. When it's time to settle down, she is a total crate queen; she heads inside like a pro and keeps her personal space sparkling clean. She’s already a star pupil, having mastered a vocabulary that would put some toddlers to shame. She is learning quickly and already responds to Sit, Stay, Come, Crate, and Go Potty.Being a smart girl with a classic hound nose, she is currently moonlighting as a "counter surfer" to see what’s for dinner. However, she is a respectful student and listens well when told "Off" or "No." Meadow is still working on her potty training—though she’s almost there—and she would thrive in a home with plenty of tough chew toys and a family ready to continue her education. Meadow is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $335. Won't you bring her home today?! All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Cooper is a loving, sweet dog, but needs more exercise than we can give him. He barks at us to go out and we will take him out to potty, but we do not have a fenced in yard where he can let out his energy. Looking for a good home where he can play!
