Thanks to a generous grant from the Robert H. Reakirt Foundation, my adoption fee is partially sponsored! My new family can take me home for $125. Meet Copper! Copper is a 7.5-year-old, 65lb redbone coonhound mix who loves squeaky toys, long walks, and cuddling on the couch. There’s so many reasons to love Copper, let us tell you about them! This handsome man is potty trained, crate trained (goes in when asked & rests quietly till you return) and knows commands. Copper's ideal match would be a family who would play fetch and take him on regular walks, let him plop next to them for belly rubs & cuddles and would spoil him with toys and kongs! Copper would thrive in a home with a yard where he can play and explore. He’s not like your typical hound- sniffing isn’t his main focus and he quickly comes when called! He’s also a controlled barker, only letting out a howl when he’s got something real important to share! Not to mention- he loves other dogs, big and small! This adorable goofball is looking for his furever family, maybe that could be you! Copper is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $125.00. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. Meet Henrietta! Miss Henry is 35lb., female, Hound mix. She is fully Vetted., crate and potty trained, and walks well on leash. She loves other dogs and I would recommend a home that already has (at least) one dog, if not more. She is fine with cats. Children need to mind their Ps and Qs with her only because chaos frightens her. Henry, Henrietta was found running around in backyards and a huge pond area for weeks. This girl kept me running up to Huber Hts. every night for two weeks working on gaining her confidence. Poor baby was scared of her own shadow and that hasnt improved much. She will need an adopter with a great deal of patience and understanding but the love is well worth the wait. She is scared of sudden movements, loud noises and abhors any change in her routine, once you have one established. Miss Henry will need a home with a fenced yard. Having said all that, Henrietta is a complete love, once she trusts you. She has the softest fur and is the most beautiful fawn color. This baby will be hard to part with and I will be extremely picky when it comes to choosing her furever home, she will come to you carrying a piece of my heart but she needs a family to call her very own, is that your family?
