Story
Towanda is a 4 month old 15lb redbone coonhound, but don’t tell her that. This master of the soulful eyes swears she’s a full blooded lap dog. Squirrels and birds are safe. She would rather nap in your lap or follow you on a fun filled adventure. She enjoys going to soccer games, hanging out on the patio of the local pub, or just lying around soaking in the sun. She loves to play with other dogs, large or small, and is good with kids. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and just about leash trained. Are you looking for a running partner, a bar buddy, or someone to join you in singing your favorite songs? Then look no further. Towanda is your dog. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   April 24, 2024, 10:31 pm

Story
EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. April 24, 2024, 9:04 pm

Story
Meet Henrietta! Miss Henry is 35lb., female, Hound mix. She is fully Vetted., crate and potty trained, and walks well on leash. She loves other dogs and I would recommend a home that already has (at least) one dog, if not more. She is fine with cats. Children need to mind their P’s and Q’s with her only because chaos frightens her. Henry, Henrietta was found running around in backyards and a huge pond area for weeks. This girl kept me running up to Huber Hts. every night for two weeks working on gaining her confidence. Poor baby was scared of her own shadow and that hasn’t improved much. She will need an adopter with a great deal of patience and understanding but the love is well worth the wait. She is scared of sudden movements, loud noises and abhors any change in her routine, once you have one established. Miss Henry will need a home with a fenced yard. Having said all that, Henrietta is a complete love, once she trusts you. She has the softest fur and is the most beautiful fawn color. This baby will be hard to part with and I will be extremely picky when it comes to choosing her furever home, she will come to you carrying a piece of my heart but she needs a family to call her very own, is that your family? Story
Meet Pebbles! This girl is so lovable a little hyper and just enjoys attention. Pebbles would thrive in an active home as she enjoys walks, runs and just simply being outside! When she is done playing she will melt right into your lap and cuddle all night long! Pebbles found herself in foster care when her previous owners just did not want her. She is currently living and thriving in her foster home alongside another dog, two cats, and a bird! We believe she was used for some coon hunting as she still thinks she needs to lead us to a tree and show us there could possibly be a raccoon up there. She has showed some food aggression, only towards other dogs, but we are working hard to get that fixed up for her new lucky owners! She is the perfect family dog please reach out to meet Pebbles as we know she won’t disappoint!
