APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. DAFNEY is a very sweet 6 mo old female puppy. My breed scanner app on my phone says that she is possibly Redbone Coonhound and Beagle mix. Whatever she is, she’s very sweet and happy. Currently weighing 25#...So, I suspect she will get to be 40#...best guess. She is living in my house (not an outside kennel); is kenneled at night (doesn’t mess in her kennel); we're working on house training; leaves my 4 cats alone; and loves all the dogs she has available to play with…about 10 of them. She will be a definite asset to someone’s home and family. Kids will love her. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love and maybe some magical stories too. Such wonderful, loving, goofy dogs. And here is Hank, sweet right down to his red feet. How could he ever have made it into a rescue and not be beloved by his family? Well, Hank was born into a hunting family , but he refused to hunt. He didn't want to hurt any other animal! So, sweetness or not, he had to go. Here is what his foster has to say about him; 'Hank, low key calm guy. Not bothered by other dogs at all. Doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive.' He just wants to be a good ole boy and be loved. Because he is a hound, we are asking that his adopter have a physical fence to keep his nose from following any special scents. Hank alos needs another friendly dog to help him get comfortable in his new home. We have made sure he has all his shots , so he is ready to be your own special boy. He promises to make you laugh when he runs about in your backyard or on a walk with those big ears flapping in the breeze. Ready for fun? Hank is your guy!   If you are interested in Hank, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 26, 2025, 1:57 am

Story
Ky is almost 1 year old. He is a very loving cuddly dog. He is very easy going and playful. He loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. He does start off very shy and nervous when meeting new people but once he warms up, he will be ready to cuddle and give kisses! He’s great with kids and knows not to be rough with kids and small dogs. He is crate trained and potty trained. Very easy to train as well. He is up to date on his shots. He would do great in any home even with an inexperienced adopter.
