Story
Meet Stanley; a sweet, scared dog looking for a safe, child-free home We are heartbroken to be rehoming our dog, Stanley, but we have a baby on the way and we cannot safely keep him in our home anymore. Stanley has a history of fear and trauma from before we adopted him, and he has bitten a couple of people when he felt scared and cornered. Because of this, he cannot live in a home with children or frequent visitors. Personality: When Stanley feels safe, he is snuggly/loyal/goofy/calm. He loves naps on the couch, walks, playing with toys. With the people he trusts, he is a very sweet dog.Trained. Behavior concerns (please read): Stanley has a history of fear-based aggression. He has bitten a couple of people in the past when he was scared and felt trapped. His triggers seem to be sudden movements, strangers reaching for him, people entering the home, people play fighting. He needs: An adult-only home An experienced dog person who understands fearful/reactive dogs. A calmer household

Story
Hello! I`m Coraline, and I`m a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of affection just waiting for the right person to share it with.Meeting new people and canine friends takes me a little while, but that`s just because I like to make sure I feel safe and comfortable. Once I do? My tail starts wagging, and you`ll see the loving, affectionate girl I truly am. I`m treat motivated too, which makes bonding with me even sweeter! The good news? I`m already a leash-walking pro, so our strolls together will be peaceful and enjoyable from day one. I just need a patient, understanding family who`ll give me the time I need to blossom into the confident companion I`m meant to be. Sound like a match? Come meet me today!

Story
Meet Copper - Your Playful, Affectionate SidekickCopper is a 1-year-8-month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a big heartand an even bigger personality. This friendly guy loves everyone he meetsand is always ready to show his affection. He knows `sit` and `down,` enjoysfetching toys, and is happiest when he`s moving and exploring.Copper can be jumpy and pulls hard on leash, but a harness makes walks mucheasier. He will need continued training to improve his leash manners andreinforce good behavior. His previous owner reported he was housebroken, loved car rides, and wasfriendly with adults and kids. He`s not a fan of cats, so a cat-free homeis best. He`s not destructive and has never escaped, making him a reliableand affectionate companion for the right family. Copper was surrendered due to some territorial issues with another dog inhis previous home, and he was briefly adopted again but was too big for thatfamily. In shelter testing, he was playful with other dogs, so ameet-and-greet is recommended. Recommended for kids 12+.Copper is looking for a loving home where he can play, learn, and be aloyal, energetic friend for years to come.Adoption fees are currently waived! All pets are spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped!
