Hi there! My name is Callie, and I`m an almost 2-year-old hound mix with a sweet personality, a heart full of love, and some seriously spectacular floppy ears. Honestly, they might arrive in the room before I do!I`m a friendly, affectionate girl who loves being around people. Whether it`s soaking up attention, leaning in for pets, or simply hanging out by your side, I`m happiest when I`m spending time with my favorite humans.I recently came back to the shelter because my previous owner`s life circumstances changed. It was a difficult decision for them, but it had nothing to do with me. I`m still the same loving, loyal girl I`ve always been—just waiting for my next chance at a forever home.As a true hound, I have plenty to say! I love to chat, sing, and share my thoughts with the world. If you`re looking for a quiet roommate, I may not be your match. But if you`d love a best friend who keeps life entertaining and always lets you know how she`s feeling, we`ll get along just fine.I`m crate trained and comfortable with my crate, and I`ll need a family that continues that routine. Most of all, I`m looking for someone who will see what everyone here sees: a wonderful dog who deserves a second chance.If you`re searching for a sweet, affectionate companion with endless charm, a voice all her own, and ears that could probably catch satellite signals, come meet me. I can`t wait to find my forever family.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home.
