Story
Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617Could she do well with kids? Yes, on a kid-by-kid basis.Could she do well with other dogs? Yes, on a dog-by-dog basis.Has this dog lived with cats? Unknown. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not “cat test” dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]---What their foster has to say about this animal:Top 3 Personality Traits: Loving, Respectful, SillyGinger loves being around people. There can be up to seven kids present at any given time, along with multiple adults – lawnmowers going by, kids running, and babies crying – yet she stands there wagging her tail, eagerly waiting for attention. Ginger has been fine around strollers, bikes, and scooters during the daytime. However, she was spooked by the scooters at night since she couldn’t identify the source of the sound. She enjoys going for walks, whether on the road or in the woods. She loves to sniff everything along the way but often checks in with her foster to ensure she hasn’t lost them. She likes watching bunnies, squirrels, and deer but hasn`t attempted to chase them while on a leash. Now that her puppies are growing up, she`s been playing more and loves little squeaky toys that she can toss around and then shred.Ginger enjoys simply sitting and relaxing for long periods in the yard, observing the puppy and kid chaos around her. Additionally, she absolutely loves food and treats!---For more resources to help with any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDT
