Story
Ellie is 9years old has lots of energy when she is taken outside She needs someone that can spend time with her and show her lots of love especially since we have to rehome her 😥 She is very smart knowing, sit, shake, bed, bye bye and get it. She loves to play with her toys but when its time to nap she is ready. We want someone that will love her, and take good care of her she loves attention doesnt like to be alone and is crated when we leave and at bedtime that is like her safe place. You will absolutely love Ellie we hate to rehome her but because of health issues doctors say we have no choice because there's no way around it and Ellie likes to be inside she doesn't stay outside she spoiled rotten but I know that you will love her and she will fit into any family

Story
Ellie is a really good dog. She is a senior she's 9 years old she does still like to play and walk outside but she does not like to stay outside she has always been an inside dog and she likes to be around people her behaviors are good she gets a bath once a month and does very well at the groomers she is fully house trained and crate trained we always put her in crate when it's bedtime and when we go places she's very smart she knows when you say time for bed she goes straight to her crate she knows the words bye-bye, she knows sit, and shake (paw) she does get along with all dogs and even cats but not so sure that most cats would want to play with her LOL so I would supervise that but she gets along with everybody and every animal. She is very spoiled she has her own love seat which if somebody wanted to take it all so have it for her. Unfortunately I have some extreme health issues that I can no longer keep her and we desire for her to have a happy loving home for her please help us

Story
Yes, he is house trained!! He is a snuggler who will lay by you for live marathons! and likes belly rubs! He likes to hang out on the deck, sits in the sun, grinning, and taking in his surroundings. He’s a quick learner and is becoming comfortable on lead. and responds well to instruction- tho of course he’d rather just run!! But he comes back and he’s learning to stay close during off-lead walks! He would love someone who would love to teach him!! Rides in the car! A bit anxiously at first until he knows you’re taking him somewhere fun and not back to the shelter. He would LOVE to be adopted by a runner and he would be your long distance companion!! 🫶

Story
Meet Sam! Sam is proof that sometimes life changes through no fault of our own. After being adopted from Noah's Arc, Sam spent time in a loving home where he absolutely thrived. He lived successfully with another dog and a one-year-old child, proving himself to be a gentle, affectionate, and well-mannered family companion. Unfortunately, due to his adopters' divorce, Sam and his canine sibling, Ranger, are now searching for new forever homes. Now around a year old, Sam is a handsome hound mix with a sweet, gentle heart. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes he's safe, his loving personality shines through. The trust you build with Sam is something truly special, and he forms deep, loyal bonds with the people he loves. His previous home showed us just how wonderful Sam is. He did fantastic living with another dog and an infant, making him a great fit for many different family dynamics. While he may need a little time to settle into new surroundings, patience and reassurance are all he asks for. Sam has already proven he can be an incredible family dog. Now, he's simply looking for the forever home that life's unexpected circumstances took away from him. If you're searching for a loyal best friend who will reward your love with unwavering devotion, Sam is ready to meet you. Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue serving East Tennessee since 1991. We are committed to rescuing homeless dogs and cats, providing the medical care they need, and helping them find loving, lifelong homes. Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate.
