Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If loving people were an Olympic sport, Boone the six-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix would take home the gold every single time! This 40-pound bundle of red-coated enthusiasm is friendly, playful, and so genuinely thrilled to be near his people that he has been known to get so excited during a good petting session that he ends up underfoot on the leash walk. He means well, he just really loves you. Boone knows sit, is quiet and calm in his crate, crate trained when on a schedule and is currently working on his housetraining. He is a smart boy and with consistency he will get there. Squeaky toys are basically Boone's love language, and he is happiest when he has a good squeak toy in his mouth, a dog friend to play with, and a human nearby ready to deliver belly rubs on demand. He is good with other dogs and friendly with strangers, and would do best in a home without cats. Boone would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn off that glorious puppy energy and then come inside for the snuggles he so deeply deserves. He is young, enthusiastic, healthy, and has an absolutely enormous amount of love to give. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate, and squeaky-toy-obsessed hound boy to join your family, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Story
From Molly's foster mom: I found this scared, emaciated Redbone Coonhound wandering on our property. She has scarring from an embedded collar or chain. I just had to take her in. She is eating well and gaining a little weight back. Molly is very sweet and gets along well with smaller dogs, large dogs, and puppies. Cats are unknown. She rarely barks. She is very friendly with adults, but she has not been around children. She is skittish when loud trucks go by on our road. She is improving on her leash walking and potty training. Molly is affectionate and just wants to be part of a loving family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
My name is Duke and I have quite the story to tell! I was once running at large all around west Tennessee. I was on my own for so long that my hair went away and I got real skinny. I wasn't in good shape, but someone found me and took me to the shelter! I was quickly taken by a rescue so I could get healthy! I came to my current home in pretty rough shape, but I got so much love and affection that I started looking like a beautiful Redbone again! I was very hungry all the time and I'm still a hungry boy, but I know that I get food every day now! Since coming to my new home, I've gained a lot of weight and am getting healthy! I get medicated baths a few times a week and love snacks throughout the day. I'm excited to show-off new pictures as I get healthier-and-healthier! I am a very nice boy and love getting attention and pets. I am a hound and can be kind of loud at times, but that's just my personality. I would love to find my forever home one day! I would love to meet you and your family!
