Othello has been in a loving foster home for over two months, where he has made wonderful progress and shown just how special he is. With time and consistency, his personality has continued to shine.Othello is a calm, gentle dog who enjoys spending much of his day relaxing in his favorite spot. He is fully potty trained and has done very well in a home environment. While he’s generally low-key, he does show a playful and energetic side when out on walks or at the park and enjoys getting out to explore.He walks nicely on leash, does not pull, and responds well to basic commands such as sit and stay. Othello is very attentive to his person and checks in often, making him an easy and pleasant walking companion. He also enjoys longer outings like hiking but is just as happy to settle down afterward.Affectionately called “Chucho” in his foster home, Othello is polite, well-mannered, and would do best with an older family or someone looking for a calm, loyal companion. He responds to both names, though “Chucho” is his favorite.Othello is ready for a loving home where he can continue to thrive. Meet Daisy! This sweet girl's story started out sad. She was left by her owner in a crate by the shelter. She didn't know what she did wrong. But Daisy warmed up right away and is thriving. Daisy is a sweet, happy girl full of energy and loves to cuddle. She walks great on a leash and is potty trained. She gets along with other dogs and is looking for her forever home. Kiwi came to us with her friend Canela (A051884) after their owner sadly passed away, and she’s been quietly winning hearts ever since. She’s easy to leash up and take out, and she walks nicely on a leash without pulling. In the play yard, Kiwi is mostly calm, chill, and independent. She’s happy to do her own thing…with the occasional surprise burst of short, silly zoomies that’ll make you smile! She doesn’t seem to know any tricks just yet and isn’t very motivated by treats or toys, though she will politely investigate toys when you toss them (even if she decides they’re not worth the effort).
