Story
Hey my name is Rusty! I came here to steal hearts, not shoes. I am a recovering klepto though I like to think of it as having my own special collection. However, I am taking direction well to turning over a new leaf, because I'm very smart. I am 3 years old and I have a lot of energy and love to give. I’m a bit of a follower and I love making new friends. I was found tied to a tree with minimal shelter in this hot Texas heat. A nice lady took me in and found me a temporary home. Now I’m looking for something more permanent. An ideal home for me would be someone who wants to play and continue playing. I am a busy boy! I am kennel and house trained. I love dogs and other people. I probably wouldn’t do well with small children or cats because I get too excited. I enjoy fetch, walks, car rides and I love cuddling! Story
Henry is an abandoned Foxhound mix that was rescued from a shelter at double capacity. He needs a forever home with a loving family. He has a kind, sweet, calm, happy and playful disposition. He loves to catch balls, run, play, swim at the dog park and take naps. He is skilled at keeping critters out of the yard (without making contact), and would also be a great ranch/farm dog. He can be trusted in the house for extended periods of time. He is clever, understands several words and obeys most commands. Adoption would include Henry's collar, leash, auto harness, auto seat protector, bedding and remaining preventative medications.
