🐾 The Moment You’ve All Been Waiting For… Duke Is Ready for Adoption! 💙
Our favorite little tripod, Duke, is officially on the lookout for his forever home! He currently weighs 15 lbs at about 4 months old, and we estimate he’ll mature somewhere between 40–60 lbs. We know—that’s a big gap! But with mixes like Catahoula or Great Dane in the guess pile, we’re doing the best we can. 😉
Duke is deaf, and while he can’t hear the world, he sure feels every bit of love in it. His missing leg doesn’t slow him down one bit, and his lack of hearing doesn’t stop him either. This boy is unstoppable.
He’s working hard on potty training, crate training, and leash skills, and he’s quickly becoming a little pro. Duke loves absolutely everyone and everything—dogs, people, life in general. And bonus: he won’t bark at the TV doorbell or alert to random sounds. 🎉
His adopter will need patience and a commitment to training using sign language or visual cues. You can’t call out to him—he won’t hear you. Experience with deaf dogs or a willingness to learn (and maybe even work with a trainer) is a big plus. He’s still a puppy and needs supervision, routine, and guidance to grow into his best self.
A secure physical fence is a must, and having another confident, friendly dog in the home would be a wonderful bonus for him—he learns a lot by watching others.
If you’re ready to give a very special boy a very special life, Duke is ready to meet you. 💙🐾

Please note:
The dog you’re applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network. Don’t worry though — we’re always happy to help you find another great match if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!).
