Petey (A139333) is a 1-year-10-month-old husky mix who weighed 56.2lbs at intake!06/08/26 Petey is back at the shelter and looking for his new home! He was stated to be a true lover but has bundles of energy! He is looking for a home that can meet his energy needs and provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy and out of trouble. He was noted to be rough when playing and was known to dig and chew. Petey was said to do well with children, strangers, and adults. However, he does love to jump on people. Petey is said to be kennel-trained and housebroken, but he needs to go outside immediately after eating, or he may have an accident in the house. If you are interested in this energetic boy, please let us know! 05/16/26 This handsome and outgoing guy is Petey! Petey was reluctantly brought to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He was said to be a very affectionate and friendly dog who has done well with every human he has met so far. Petey was also said to do well with and be very excited around other dogs! He does not have experience with babies, or smaller animals such as cats. He was said to be kennel trained and housebroken, but he is used to having a doggie door to go outside when he needs to. He might have some accidents in a new home as he adjusts to the routine. Petey knows some hand commands, but the specifics are not clear. He has been very willing to demonstrate how good he can sit at the shelter! Petey was said to ride well in the car.
