Story
This is miss Benelli. She is currently 7 years old. Our family has had her since the day she was born. She loves cuddles more than anything and likes walks and treats puzzles. She gets a long with the few dogs she’s gotten to meet on her adventures. She has been around children, but I feel she would be better in a more calming home due to getting overwhelmed, uneasy, and very anxious when kids are rowdy and running around. Shes the sweetest girl once she knows you and will use those puppy eyes to get treats. We love her dearly but she was diagnosed in June 2025 with what the vets think is Phemphigus Foliaeceus which causes her immune system to attack her skin cells causing her skin to blister and crust. She is currently on medications that are just maintaining her symptoms. Proper treatment for this sweet girl is not something we are able to accomplish at this time financially. We are heartbroken, but feel she needs and deserves someone who can provide the care she needs.
