Story
Girl friend brought him (Red) home as a puppy 03/2025 around 7 weeks old. We already have a pit/lab (Blue) mix. We did not have room for another dog. I fell in love with him immediately. As he matured, he take any chew toy or chew treat from Blue. This has led to a couple serious confrontations. Other than that, Red is a huge baby. He loves children. Sniffs my cat to death, loves to run and makes me laugh. He runs like a deer! My girlfriend and I get a kick out of him, hes a big lover baby. He sleeps in our bed with blue. I freaking love him but Blue is my main dog and Red needs a good home. He loves to be on a leash, almost like a security blanket. He hasn’t been around other dogs. Blue and Red get along fine until a squeak toy or large chew toy is introduced, Red wants them all. This is my only issue with Red. I do not want either one to get hurt, much less, myself. I will be real sad to see him go. I’ve grown attached to him. Keeps me warm at night

Marsa is one of the happiest go lucky pups we’ve had. She’s a ball of energy and fun, and would thrive best in a home that can provide proper stimulation and enrichment for this busy girl. She loves to snuggle and gives kisses, but is also a big player and loves some toys. She is highly treat motivated and eager to please. She is always happy to see you and ready for a walk! She would also do best in a home where she was the only dog.

Meet Sunny! This little girl came to Alaqua with her brothers and sisters, rescued by Walton County Animal Shelter. She moved into foster to work on potty training, crate training, good manners and leash walking. She is getting the hang of all of them! She is loving having another furry dog friend in the home and is doing great with them. She can be a bit nervous with new people (especially ones that want to chase her) but she is young and just getting to know the world!
