Story
Mervin is a wonderful old man! He is 12 years old and we adopted him when he was 3. He is good with children and other dogs. He likes to go on short walks. He is having a difficult time doing stairs, so a home with one story would be ideal. He likes to show off his tricks when you get home from work!

Story
Meet Ruger!  He is a HANDSOME 4 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix puppy.  He found himself at animal control and was absolutely terrified there!  Nobody knows where he came from or why nobody came to claim him but he was not doing well at the shelter so we pulled him out.  He is skinny but is eating like a champ so should put on weight quickly.   Ruger is shy and will take a little bit to warm up and adjust/get comfortable in a new home.  He would probably benefit from someone with another dog and property for him to run around on and explore.  He is great with other dogs and cats and will grow up to be a gorgeous dog.  He has had his first set of puppy vaccines and his neuter and booster shot appointment will be made once his adoption is finalized.  Adopter MUST bring him to his neuter appointment, no exceptions.  Adoption fee and contract required. Story
Hi! I am Tifa a 2 year old, 42 lb, Vizsla/Catahoula type mix looking for my forever family <3 I am UTD, spayed, microchipped, house trained, and I am learning to walk on a leash. I am high energy and would love a family that loves adventure and training! Boy oh boy do I love to work. I am nervous around new people and get rather protective over high value items, what can I say I love them! But luckily I'm working with an amazing trainer who's teaching me that sharing is caring and I get even more goodies when I share... The rescue will continue to sponsor my family for the right new home. I need to be the only dog and no small children, please. Storms make me super scared so I have special medicine that calms me down, who doesn't love a good chillaxer?!  Adoption requirements are as such: Not a first time dog owner  No kids under 16 No other pets (cats or dogs) Experience with resource guarding  Willingness to complete training prior to adoption  Adoption fee REDUCED: $75 Please note, Tifa is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. She has not been tested or evaluated and the information gathered is from the current owner’s personal statements regarding health and temperament. The owner is subject to placement outside of our organization. We cannot guarantee availability.  ##1735327##

Story
Hi! I'm Mustard. I don't know how much you know about Florida curs - but 2/3 of every litter of true Florida Cur Dogs are born with a bobbed tail, just like mine! People seem to love my nubbin wags! Florida Curs are a very special, active, working line dog - I come with a lot of energy, but am also an amazingly fun and silly class clown. If you're looking for an active companion to hike, adventure and train with - I'm your guy! Mustard is a 2-year-old, 58 lb, Black Mouth Cur mix looking for his forever family. He is UTD, neutered, microchipped, house trained, and walks well on leash. He is crate trained, and is not destructive when left loose in the house. Mustard is very energetic and would love a family to cuddle and go on adventures with. He is not good with cats and needs work on his social skills with other dogs but has a lot of potential to do great with them. He is too hyper and playful for smaller kids and would do best in an older kids home. Please note, Mustard is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers. They are not under the care of the rescue. They are under the care of their current guardian. The owner is subject to placement outside of our organization. We cannot guarantee availability. Adoption fee REDUCED: $75 ##1518452##

Story
Bindi is a uniquely beautiful 6 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She is housebroken, has a mellow energy level and is calm and well behaved in the home - she is already trustworthy in the house and does not need a crate or kennel. While she does well meeting new people outside of the home, she is protective over her home and belongings when guests come into her home. The rescue will provide new training for an adopter at no cost to help her start off on the right foot at learning to allow guests to come into the home successfully, but she will need an experienced, committed adopter ready to work with her. Bindi is part of our rehoming program and her current family is rehoming her because she does not get along well with the other dog in her home. Bindi is not reactive when meeting new dogs out in public or on walks but again struggles with sharing her space and belongings with them. She would do best as the only dog in the home. We are recommending a home without small children for Bindi, older kids would be okay.  Adoption fee $150, Bindi is spayed and current on vaccines. Located in Orlando, FL. ##2008383##
