Story
I adopted Nate as a puppy from the humane society when I was in college. He was just two months old at the time, now 13 years old, and has always lived with me since as his primary owner. Sometime when he was a few years old, he was mistreated by apartment maintenance personnel that changed his temperament towards new people. Although not aggressive, he is skeptical of new faces in his home environment and takes time to warm up to people. He has transitioned to being an outdoor dog, but I can see that it is very hard on him in his old age. I am hoping to find a loving home for him where he can have regular companionship again and comfort.
