Story
Cookie is an almost nine months old black mouth cur mix, she is such a beauty! Cookie is a nice size, around 30 pounds, her foster mom doesn't think she will get much bigger, maybe 40-45. She is mostly dark tan and then has black and white on the face and chest. Cookie is shy at first with new people but seems to be coming out of her shell rather quickly, she loves climbing into her foster moms lap now and laying on the bed with her also. She loves other dogs and playing with them and toys, she also has been around horses but not cats though we think she would do well with them. Cookie also loves water and splashing in the little plastic pools. She is pretty much potty trained and is also kennel trained and keeps a dry kennel. She hasn't been on a leash too much but with time should do better. She is a very sweet girl and will make someone a great pup/companion. Her adoption fee of $300 covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines, and current monthly flea and heartworm preventions.  Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply ##2846303##

Story
Opie is a little over four months old and weighs 35 pounds, a catahoula mix is our best guess. His foster thinks he should be fairly large size as his paws are pretty big topping out 70-80 pounds. Opie should have been named Curious George his foster says because he has to know what's going on and follow you wherever you go. Opie is one cool dude, he seems to have an old soul and is very good natured. He is a well behaved pup and seems very smart. He is somewhat high energy but then once he wears himself out he flops down and just observes. He loves to follow his foster family everywhere they go. He is pretty much potty trained except for an occasional accident and he keeps his kennel dry also. He loves other dogs, hasn't been around cats, as there are none in his foster home, but should do good. He carries toys around and loves to play with them. Opie doesn't do too bad on a leash either, he is going to be a great pup for sure!
