Story
We received Millie about a year ago from a friend who knew someone who had a puppy they wanted to find a new home for. They had her living in a crate outdoors 24 hours a day and she was underfed. We wanted to rescue her so we took her in. She's a mixed breed but we're not sure what exactly she is. We think she might have some Rhodesian Ridgeback in her based on her coloring and body shape. We housetrained her and taught her the "sit" command but she could use some training in other areas. She's a sweet dog, however, she seems to have some anxiety when it comes to strangers, especially men. She has a lot of energy and it is a little overwhelming for us as we have a new baby. We also have an older dog who doesn't have the energy to play with her all the time like she wants to. We have a small fenced in area in our yard but she needs more space to run around. She needs a home with someone who has the time and patience to train her and give her the attention she deserves.
