Hi friends, I’m Max! I found my way to Heartland thanks to some kind folks who knew I deserved a loving forever home. I can be a little shy at first, but don’t worry—once I get to know you, my tail wags and gentle snuggles will prove just how much love I have to give. I am a graduate of the SPOT Training Program in Springfield, where I’m learning commands, tricks, and socialization skills. Now, I'm just hanging in foster waiting for you to call HHS. I get along fine with other dogs, but not so sure about cats. I would prefer a quiet, low activity home where I'm not expected to be a social butterfly. Give HHS a call to set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to show you my progress and maybe even steal your heart. 💙
