Story
**COURTESY LISTING** Cowboy and Chloe are not at Elmore SPCA. If you are intersted in them, please reach out to their caretaker, Angelia, directly at (518) 802-7735.This is a urgent situation: Before going into the hospital, the owner's wish, if something happened, was that her dogs would be taken care of 😩💕 The following was written by a family member.. We are seeking a loving home for Cowboy and Chloe, 7 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback Labrador Retrievers. They are a bonded pair, energetic, play well together, love to be outside. They have never had exposure to other animals or children, but don’t foresee an issue, obviously need to do a meet and greet first. Both are fully vetted. They come from a loving home where they were spoiled, loved beyond measure. Sadly, we are seeking to re-home them, as their owner abruptly and unexpectedly passed away the morning of May 14th. The dogs are currently being boarded at Palmers Vet while the family sorts out affairs. We would appreciate the community assistance in spreading the word and sharing Cowboy and Chloe’s story. Serious inquiries only. ❤️**Please note that Cowboy and Chloe need to be fed separately. They love doing everything together, but honestly, who really wants to ever share their food?

Story
Meet Ellie Mae, she is a sweet Texas girl and the total package! She is full of love, energy, and personality! She is the kind of dog that doesn’t just wag her tail…she wags her whole body when she sees you! It’s impossible not to smile around her. Ellie Mae is a very active girl who would thrive with a family that enjoys being on the go. Whether it’s walks, playtime in the yard, or even becoming your future jogging partner, she’s ready to keep up! With a little consistency and routine, she has all the potential to be an amazing companion. She absolutely loves people and does great with other dogs when it comes to playtime and socializing. She’s happy, friendly, and eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. She’s only been around kiddos once, but she did well! One of the kids played with her and she was gentle and appropriate. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and active companion who will love you big and keep life exciting, Ellie Mae might just be your girl.Located in Lufkin, Texas, but transport to most states is available for an additional fee of $300.

Story
Olive is a sweet and playful girl that we adopted as a puppy during the COVID lockdown. She loves being outdoors and going on hikes/walks, but is also happy to lay around the house and snuggle. When she was about a year old she started having seizures, so she is on two medications to treat her epilepsy which she takes twice a day with her meals. Her epilepsy is well controlled, with no seizures for over a year. We love Olive very much, but with a toddler running around (and not always being gentle) and with another little one on the way, we would be happiest if we could find her another family that would love her just as much.
