Hi there, I’m Bashful! A 3-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix, spayed and officially a single dog mama of four — three sons, one daughter — all teens now and probably counting down the days until they fly the coop. Which means… it’s finally my time. Time to rediscover myself. Time for me, me, me. My foster mom trains dogs on the daily so you can expect I’m taking strides every day to be the PAWFECT companion. I’m potty trained and kennel trained. I’ve started with the basics — like learning to walk politely on a leash (a big step, okay?). And I’ve done a little soul-searching along the way, making my way from southern Alabama to Louisiana, and now Wisconsin, just to see if the grass really is greener. (Verdict: TBD, but the cheese curds are promising.) I’m a quirky girl with a romantic soul. I’m all about meaningful connections, shared adventures, and a life full of passion, compassion, and let’s be honest… snacks. Snacks are non-negotiable. I’m currently crashing with some lovely friends in Central Wisconsin, but for the right person (and, yes, snacks), I’m open to relocation.
