Story
Muffin is the kind of dog who quietly sneaks her way right into your heart. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and truly brings a little extra brightness into each day. During her time at the shelter, Muffin has been on her very best behavior and we have absolutely loved getting to know her gentle personality. Muffin can be a little shy when first meeting new people and may occasionally do a submissive piddle when she’s nervous or excited, but it comes from her soft and sensitive nature. Once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through and she quickly becomes a loyal little shadow who just wants to be close to her people. Muffin is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside, though she may still have occasional accidents in the home. She is crate trained and is used to being home alone for 8–12 hours a day. While she can become a bit mischievous when left alone — sometimes chewing on walls, shoes, or toys — she is not destructive when spending time with her people. Crating can help keep her honest while her people are away, but she will certainly appreciate a home that doesn’t require her to spend long hours alone. This lovely girl enjoys rope toys, affection, and simply being part of the family. Muffin will be happiest with having a positive outlet for her energy! She is comfortable being handled all over and has a very easygoing demeanor. Muffin has done well with men, women, children, and other dogs. She reportedly did okay with cats when she was younger, though her more recent behavior around cats is unknown. We absolutely encourage slow introductions and are more than happy to provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting! Muffin is truly a sweetheart who is looking for a patient and loving home that will help continue building her confidence while appreciating the gentle, affectionate companion she already is.

Story
My family has had Chloe all her life. I have moved out of the family home and she cannot stay where she is at any longer. She is a very sweet and loving dog. She likes to cuddle and will lean up against you. She is a bit skittish of strangers. Chloe turned 5 years old this past January. Because of her being itchy I feed her grain-free food, she also seems to have issues with chicken.
