Story
Rhea was adopted in 2018 as a puppy, but surrendered by her adopters. This is a head scratcher for us, as she did great with everyone for 4 years. She was adopted again and has now been surrendered again. What is going on with this poor girl? Rhea's intake form states that she is good with children, but had an issue with one teenager. It also states that she is housebroken and crate trained, but can be destructive if left alone unsupervised and uncrated. Rhea has done well with other dogs and although more than willing to chase the cats, has yet to actually hurt one. It sounds as though she may have scared a life or two out of them, though! Rhea is understandably nervous about losing her home and being in a shelter after living and bonding with a family. She absolutely needs some stability in her life. Rhea has a lot of positives as she is housebroken and crate trained. She also knows several commands such as sit, come, no, leave it and shake. Rhea has a medium energy level and is such a sweet girl! Come and meet her for yourself and decide if she is right for you. Email reception@hsscg.org for an appointment or more information. We would love for you to stop by Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 4. Rhea is spayed, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. This big girl is really missing her home. Come show her some love!

Story
This pretty young girl was found as a stray, but her finders were unable to locate anyone to claim her. After a few weeks with no success, they decided to bring her in and find her a new home. Giselle is a very sweet dog with an affectionate personality. She can be very choosy about her friends when it comes to other dog. A meet and greet would be a requirement unless she is the only princess in the house. Although we aren't sure if she is housetrained or crate trained, Giselle is definitely eager to please. We believe it's a skill she would learn quickly. Giselle may be a bully mix, but she is definitely not a bully! She is a sweet and gentle girl with people. Email reception@hsscg.org for more information or an appointment, or just come on in. We are open 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Giselle is spayed, microchipped, and current on core vaccines. Although she was heartworm positive on arrival, Giselle has been treated here by our medical team. She is now available for adoption. We would love to see her find a loving home, as she has been here for almost 6 months.
