Ronald (male) and Reagan (female) came to us together and have been winning hearts ever since with their friendly personalities and loving nature.Both pups are super sweet, affectionate, and people-friendly. They’re still young, which means they’re at a great age to continue learning, bonding with their families, and growing into wonderful lifelong companions.While Ronald and Reagan are siblings, they do not have to be adopted together and can each go to their own forever homes where they’ll get plenty of love and attention.If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal pup to add to your family, Ronald or Reagan might be the perfect fit. Come meet them and see just how lovable they are! 🐶💕Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Meet Buddy Blue 💙🐾 Buddy came to Castoff when his owner’s job suddenly required out-of-town travel and there was no way to take Buddy along. It was a heartbreaking decision, but now this big love bug is looking for his next forever family. First things first. Buddy Blue is ADORABLE. The kind of adorable where you see his face and immediately want to smooch it. And honestly… you probably will. Buddy is a 2-year-old Husky/Rottie mix and weighs in at about 100 pounds of pure love. In Buddy’s mind he is also approximately 12 pounds and definitely a lap dog, so if you’ve been wishing for a giant cuddle buddy, congratulations. You’ve found him. He’s already fully vetted and ready to go home, and since he’s always lived with a family, he’s really missing that home life. A couch, some belly rubs, and a human to lean on would make his whole world. Buddy gets along great with other dogs, and he does well with kids too. Because he’s basically built like a friendly tank, we’re recommending older kids who won’t get accidentally bowled over by an enthusiastic love nudge. Cats and small critters are a no for Buddy. Not because he’s mean… he just REALLY wants to meet them, and they would very much prefer not to attend that meeting.
