Meet Buddy Blue 💙🐾 Buddy came to Castoff when his owner’s job suddenly required out-of-town travel and there was no way to take Buddy along. It was a heartbreaking decision, but now this big love bug is looking for his next forever family. First things first. Buddy Blue is ADORABLE. The kind of adorable where you see his face and immediately want to smooch it. And honestly… you probably will. Buddy is a 2-year-old Husky/Rottie mix and weighs in at about 100 pounds of pure love. In Buddy’s mind he is also approximately 12 pounds and definitely a lap dog, so if you’ve been wishing for a giant cuddle buddy, congratulations. You’ve found him. He’s already fully vetted and ready to go home, and since he’s always lived with a family, he’s really missing that home life. A couch, some belly rubs, and a human to lean on would make his whole world. Buddy gets along great with other dogs, and he does well with kids too. Because he’s basically built like a friendly tank, we’re recommending older kids who won’t get accidentally bowled over by an enthusiastic love nudge. Cats and small critters are a no for Buddy. Not because he’s mean… he just REALLY wants to meet them, and they would very much prefer not to attend that meeting.
