Story
ATL not SAV! Dug was adopted as an adult from the shelter. He is a goofy boy who loves to cuddle with his person but also go outside and explore. He loves his routine and will let you know if you’re breaking it. He doesn’t have vast experience with kids but has done well with the kids he’s been in contact with (age 10 and as young as 2). He does great with other dogs and cats as well however he just needs a soft introduction to the cat so he knows it’s a friend and not a stray. He will chase a stray cat or a squirrel. He likes walks but not too far otherwise he’ll stop dead in his tracks when he’s over it, otherwise walks well on a leash. He is a Velcro dog and wants to be near his people at all times. He is crate trained and will go in there during the day for naps and if you’re up too late he’ll put himself in it and close the door to go to sleep. He is the best dog and would do well with a family or couple with a fenced yard.

This guy came in as a stray with a harness on and looked pretty good. His family never came for him. He is a total love bug. The best way to know about one of our residents is to come and visit us on Fridays or Saturdays 10 to 1.  Update: I have been in a home for a few years but had to be returned to the rescue. I am a little older and much bigger now. Come by to say hello to me.  ##2261428##
