Bernie is a Bernese Mountain Dog and Border Collie mix, he's approximately 2 years old. He is by all means a gentle giant (85lbs!)! Bernie loves kids, dogs, and being outside. He loves attention! He will sit and let you pet him all day long. Bernie has been around cats and a tortoise. Neither has really caught his attention. Even though Bernie is still a pup he hasn't chewed up shoes or toys laying around. He doesn't seem to be big on playing with dog toys. Bernie's ideal family will have a yard and an active lifestyle. Chubbs is a loving, playful pup who will chase balls all day long if you let him! Surrendered due to no fault of his own (his owner felt like they worked too many hours), Chubbs loves to be cuddled, hang out on the couch, or go with you on outdoor adventures! Chubbs has been angel since arriving to our facility, soaking up all of the love & attention he's received from staff & volunteers. He is active, loves toys, & knows lots of commands. He has only been around teenagers, but slightly younger kids that can correct his jumping should be OK as he's sweet, but on the larger side.
