Story
Meet Hersey, a big, beautiful 113-pound Rottweiler girl with a heart just as large as her presence! At 6 years old, she brings a wonderful mix of maturity and enthusiasm-she knows how to settle in and enjoy the moment, but she also gets very excited when she sees her people.Hersey is a strong, powerful girl who will need a confident handler on leash, as she can be quite the enthusiastic puller when she's ready to go explore. When she meets new friends, her excitement really shines-she may try to say hello with happy jumps, just because she's so thrilled to be included.Underneath her big, bold energy is a loving dog who wants connection and companionship. With a bit of structure, continued leash manners work, and someone who appreciates her zest for life, Hersey will be a loyal, devoted sidekick ready to share every adventure-and every cuddle-right by your side. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 113 Age: 6yrs 0mths 0wks I am available for adoption at the Pocatello Animal Shelter.

Story
Diesel is an incredibly sweet, gentle boy with a calm presence that makes him easy to love. He’s quiet and well-mannered, the kind of companion who fits naturally into a peaceful home. When it’s time to play, he enjoys a good game of fetch and is always happy to engage, especially if there’s a tennis ball involved. Diesel is highly treat motivated, with peanut butter being a clear favorite that wins him over every time. He’s affectionate, easygoing, and enjoys connecting with his people in simple, meaningful ways. Story
HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle and take me for walks and other outings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have many positive traits - I am affectionate, I walk well on a leash, and I am a loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with dogs I know (especially female dogs around my size), I can be reactive on a leash toward dogs I don't know. However, I really do like female dogs - I currently love to hang out and go on walks with my girlfriend Darla, a Doberman. And I love human attention and affection - I am affectionate and caring. I'd do well with a strong owner, too. Please email for an application. I'm currently still in Southern California, but can be transported to Idaho. Please email for an application and additional photos.

Story
Midnight is crate and house trained! He does great on a leash and loves to go on walks. Owners couldn't devote the time or attention to him, they desired and believed he will be happier in a new home. Midnight is a happy, energetic guy who is loving and smart! He adores tummy rubs and playing fetch! Midnight also loves to go hiking and explore, so an adventurous family would be great.

🐾 Meet Zephyr 🐾 Zephyr is a 4-year-old, 56-pound Rottweiler mix who just needs a little time to feel safe. She can be shy at first, but with patience (and plenty of treats—her favorite!), her gentle, affectionate side shines through. 💛 She knows “sit,” is working on “down,” and does best in calm environments—especially outdoors where she feels more relaxed. Zephyr is looking for a patient home with kids 12+ and will need to meet all household members (including dogs) before going home. She’s already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Give her time, and Zephyr will be a truly special companion. 🐶✨
