This is Milly. She is a Rot/Pit mix and she is 7 years old. Milly loves being around people all the time and has an abundance of kisses for who she loves. She loves cuddles and will take up the whole bed lol. She loves going on rides in the car and camping. Her personality is perfect, she is very playful but can also chill when you want to chill. She has been around many dogs and hasn’t had any issues. She does like to be the dominate one if another dog is all over her but if the other dogs around are chill she will be chill. We hate to rehome her but we underestimated the stress of having a dog while having infants. I hope she can go to a loving home with a big yard or someone who is active and can take her along every once and awhile.

Meet Pyro, a 2-year-old, 70-pound Rottweiler mix with a personality as big as his heart! Pyro is a goofy, happy, and energetic boy who absolutely loves to play. Whether it's a game of tug-of-war or running around the yard, this guy is always ready for fun and adventure. His bouncy energy makes him a bundle of joy, but he may be best suited for an active family without young kids, as he tends to jump when he's excited. He’s already mastered the command “sit,” which is a great way to help him calm down during those moments of excitement. While he’s a bit of a whirlwind, Pyro is also a quiet boy here at the shelter and loves to show his affection in his own sweet way. If you're looking for a fun-loving, playful companion with a ton of love to give, Pyro just might be your perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $100 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. Chloe is a sweet girl who previously lived with many other dogs and is tolerant of them, but may be a bit selective about the dogs she gets along with. She likes her safe spaces, and may do best in a patient home who can let her acclimate slowly to new environments. Come meet this sweetie at CCHS!

Jax is a 9 month old Boxer/Pitbull mix available at CCHS. He was brought to us because his previous owners didn't have the space for him. He is a sweet and cuddly lap dog who loves run around and play. Jax is more shy with men but has warmed up quickly to many of the male staff. While he does require training classes he is very mature and well mannered for his age. Come by CCHS if you'd like to meet with Jax!
