ENERGY LEVEL: Medium PERSONALITY/PHISICAL TRAITS: Large, Sweet, Goofy Hello, nice to meet you! Even though my name is Coffee, I don't need any to have energy throughout the day! I am young and lively (on occasion still!) so I would do best in a family with a big backyard or someone who could take me on walks often. I do require that the yard have a full privacy fence. I am also not a fan of cats or other small animals, so I would like a home without them. I am an 80-pound gentle giant who really enjoys being pet and talked to. I am a really silly boy, too. My tongue hardly ever fits in my mouth and I'm always happy to see the humans here! My ideal day would consist of running around and playing followed by cuddle time and a nap. He came to us as an owner surrender, but it’s clear he’s always been loved and socialized — Axel adores everyone he meets. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a true family companion. Axel is potty, crate, and leash trained, and he thrives with free roaming — he’s not destructive at all. He’s amazing in public and adapts beautifully to new situations, making him an all-around perfect companion. He’s vocal and loves to “talk” to you, especially if you’re a woman — he’ll happily become your shadow, following you everywhere with love and loyalty. This sweet guy has so much personality: he gets zoomies in the backyard, howls like a husky, loves car rides, and has a hilarious obsession with salami. Axel is genuinely one of the most perfect dogs you could hope to meet — affectionate, playful, and endlessly loving. 📍 Located in Richmond, Kentucky 💰 Adoption fee: $250 Axel is fully vetted and ready to find a home where he can be loved and spoiled for the rest of his days.
