🧸 Looking for your very own giant teddy bear? Bullet might be your guy! 🧸
Bullet is a 6 year old giant baby in a big dog’s body. He is the sweetest, most Velcro boy who would happily spend his entire day tucked underneath you if you’d let him 😂
Bullet came to us after his dad passed away and he ended up at a local holding facility. His dad was the only person he had known for the first six years of his life, so losing him and suddenly finding himself in a completely unfamiliar environment was a huge adjustment.
While he was at the holding facility, Bullet became extremely stressed and scared. He was drooling and vomiting, and it was obvious that he was struggling with everything happening around him. Seeing how overwhelmed he was, we decided to pull him and give him somewhere safe to decompress.
Thankfully, Bullet is doing SO much better now. He is still an anxious guy and will need someone who understands that he has been through a lot of change, but underneath all of that is the absolute sweetest dog.
Bullet is a total Velcro dog. He wants to be right next to his person at all times and would honestly prefer to be underneath you rather than beside you! He loves attention, loves being close, and is just a giant teddy bear looking for someone to call his own.
And this big boy is GOOD ❤️
He is good on a leash, good in his kennel, potty trained, and absolutely wonderful with other dogs. He has done great with both male and female dogs, big and small. He has also been great with cats and has not shown any interest in chasing them. He has even done amazing with kids!
Bullet does tend to be more comfortable with women. Men make him a little unsure at first, but he is not aggressive whatsoever. He simply needs a little more time to warm up and learn that they are safe. With patience and no pressure, we think he can absolutely build that trust.
We could see Bullet doing wonderfully with a woman living on her own, a mom with children, or really any home willing to give him the time and patience he needs to settle in. If there is a man in the home, we would just want him to understand that Bullet may need a little extra time to feel comfortable with him.
After losing the only person he had known for six years and suddenly having his entire world turned upside down, Bullet deserves a home where he can finally relax and just be somebody’s giant baby again ❤️
Bullet is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
