Sophie came to us about a year ago, after her owner who is a blind pastor and his wife have gotten up there in age and unable to get around the way they used to. She is extremely protective of her owner. It took me an hour to be able to hold the leash in my hand without the man with me. She has come a long way since that time! She now jumps for Joy when she sees me rubs on me I couldn't pet her head for the first couple of months and now all she wants me to do is love on her and pet her and she gets along with all of her peers! A very scary looking angel is what she is!

Story
Runner was found as a puppy on the side of the road dying with parvo. He was abandoned and all alone. I took him in and checked him in to the local vet for all shots and proper care and healing from the Parvo. Once all healed up, Runner and I became best friends. He came to work with me and became a great shop dog, frequent his favorite place the dog park and got all the snuggles and loving from him EVERY night and morning! Runner lived with just me for the first 2.5 years and did everything with me, he’s 3.5 now and for the past year he has been living with my fiance and I with 2 other dogs and 6 cats and chickens. He loves the kittens and the dogs but has recently was triggered and snapped at the kitten and injured him. A few months ago he also was startled and caught my 7 year old son’s cheek and drew some blood. I love this dog with all of my heart but he desperately needs the one on one love and care. He got his name because he loves to run! A lot! Sweetest loving guard dog mutt❤
