Story
Phoebe is a quiet, sweet girl with the softest heart. She already knows “sit,” is house trained, and is currently working on kennel training like a champ. This lovely lady is gentle, polite, and ready to find a peaceful home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. When first approached, Phoebe tends to sit calmly and observe the world around her. She isn’t one to rush into things — she prefers to take it all in. Once she feels safe, she happily accepts treats (ever so gently!) and enjoys calm, soothing pets all over. She may be hesitant in new environments or if she feels pressured, but with patience and understanding, she truly blossoms.Phoebe has a low energy level and would thrive in a quiet home with a predictable routine. She’s easy to leash up, though walks can sometimes feel overwhelming to her. With encouragement and reassurance from a patient adopter who understands shy dogs, she’ll continue gaining confidence and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. In playgroup, Phoebe showed wonderful dog manners. She greets other dogs politely, enjoys sniffing and exploring, and communicates appropriately when needed. As a more mature lady, she’d prefer canine companions who match her calm energy — she’s happy to leave the roughhousing to the youngsters!Phoebe is looking for someone who will see the beauty in her gentle spirit and give her the time she needs to shine. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, soft-hearted companion who will quietly fill your home with love.Phoebe is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Story
Sophie came to us about a year ago, after her owner who is a blind pastor and his wife have gotten up there in age and unable to get around the way they used to. She is extremely protective of her owner. It took me an hour to be able to hold the leash in my hand without the man with me. She has come a long way since that time! She now jumps for Joy when she sees me rubs on me I couldn't pet her head for the first couple of months and now all she wants me to do is love on her and pet her and she gets along with all of her peers! A very scary looking angel is what she is!

Story
Do you have love to give? My name is Rosie. I am six years old but still look like a puppy. I was the smallest in my litter and I never grew as big as my siblings. Even though I am little, it's never bothered me and I am still very healthy. I am glad to be healthy so I can play fetch for a looooong time everyday. I love deeply and am devoted to my people. When I was a puppy I was attacked by another dog, so I don't play with other dogs. Other then that I can get along with anyone. If you are a people person, we will get along great because I am a people Dog! I am a wiggly playful gal but I am gentle as a lamb and extremely paictient with small children. I need a new home. My family who loves me dearly cannot keep me. If you are a person or family who has time, love to give and wants to receive it back ten fold, please reach out! I love you already!
