She may be able to live with a calm, neutral dog or as the only dog in the home. Rio is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and is calm and well-mannered indoors. Outside is his happy place! He loves soaking up the fresh air and playing with his squeaky toys. Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, and he’s perfectly happy entertaining himself. Rio doesn’t like to share high-value items, so he’ll need space from other dogs when his favourite toys are around. He’s a big fan of belly rubs and happily soaks up affection. We’re currently working on his “selective hearing” when it’s time to come back inside. He can be a little stubborn if he’s having too much fun! He rides great in the car and jumps in without hesitation. Rio is on a journey toward a healthier weight, enjoying extra walks and playtime to help him feel his very best. At 4.8 years old, Rio is ready to find a home that can give him as much love as he is big! (150 lbs) Please note: Rio has a chronic lick granuloma on his rear right leg and must wear a cone when unsupervised or overnight. This appears to be behavioural in nature and will likely require long-term management.

Did you know that Bella means Beautiful? I'm told that I'm a beautiful girl so I suppose the name Bella suits me! I have a long standing history with MUR and I always loved when they would come for a visit.Now that I'm an official MUR dog and ready to find my forever home it's time for me to tell you a little about myself. I'm a super smart dog and I'm already kennel trained and house trained! My leash manners still need a bit of refining but I'm doing better every day. I do great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident and social dog to help me continue to grow my confidence.I would rather have a home without any felines as they are a bit too intriguing and I'm not good at leaving them alone. I have met kids and have done great with them too.Life can be scary but I promise I don't take long to trust (bonus points if you have treats) and I'm a smart girl who learns super quick! I'm gentle and I have the most adorable smile. Belly rubs are my favourite and I'm super quick to roll over for them when is tart to get comfortable.If you're looking for a special girl who will love you with all her heart, then look no further!
