Story
We are looking for an experienced dog owner to rehome my 6 year old Lab/Rot mix to. I am trying to rehome him because he has a bite history and we have a hyperactive 3 year old. He is such an amazing, loving, sweet, intelligent dog that just needs the right home. He does well around female dogs for sure, not sure about males. He gets along with our little yorkie. We've had ducks, turkeys, chickens and cats that he hasn't messed with. One of our girl ducks would follow him around everywhere after her mate passed away. The neighbors dogs can bark at him and he just looks at them and goes about his business. The only time he has ever gotten snippy at another dog was when the dog tried to run off of our property and Brutus basically herded her back away from the street. There was an instance where 2 pitbulls jumped our fence and Brutus thought they were playing at first, so he tried to play until one of the pits bit him and then Brutus fought back and scared them off our lawn.
