Story
Meet Tank – Your New Best Walking BuddyTank is a 6-year-old male Rottweiler with a soft heart, steady paws, and a curious nose that loves discovering the world around him. He walks beautifully on leash and enjoys strolls where he can sniff, explore, and take in all the good smells life has to offer. Tank was surrendered by his previous owner due to life circumstances, but he comes with a great history of training and manners. He is housetrained and crate trained, walks well on leash, has had obedience training, does not escape, and is not destructive. This gentle guy is wonderfully polite with treats, taking them with the softest mouth. He especially loves enrichment time, like working on a snuffle mat and searching for hidden goodies. Tank leans into affection, happily soaking up pets and seeking out your attention. With his calm, mellow nature, Tank shines brightest with someone kind, patient, and loving. If you’re looking for a loyal, steady-hearted companion who is ready to share gentle adventures and quiet moments, Tank is ready to be your devoted friend.

Story
Meet Wiggle Worm -- happy-go-lucky boy!True to his namesake, this sweetheart is bursting with joy, enthusiasm, and nonstop wiggles. He’s the kind of dog who leans all the way in for pets, greets life with full-body excitement, and spreads happiness wherever his giant paws land. Wiggle Worm is a true toy enthusiast and proudly runs a one-dog circus. He absolutely loves toys and can happily entertain himself, tossing, chewing, and playing with them for hours. When playtime winds down, he’s just as content soaking up attention and affection from his people. He’s a smart cookie, too. Wiggle Worm already knows sit and down and has shown that he’s easily trainable, especially when training is fun and engaging. He’s strong on leash and brings plenty of enthusiasm to walks, so an adopter who enjoys working with an energetic, powerful pup will be a great match.Wiggle Worm was recently adopted for a few days, but it wasn’t the right fit for them. During his time in a home, his adopters reported that he is housetrained, loves car rides, and is very loving and gentle for his size. This joyful goofball would thrive in an active home with adults or older children who are ready for play, training, and lots of laughs. If you’re looking for a big-hearted companion who will love you with his whole body (and then some), Wiggle Worm is ready to wiggle his way into your life!

Story
Meet Buggy – Certified Couch Connoisseur Buggy is what happens when a gentle soul and a throw pillow have a dog. Calm, quiet, and ridiculously sweet, she’s not here for chaos — she’s here for comfort, routine, and the softest couch in your house. She’s easy to leash, a dream to walk, and takes treats like a polite little lady (no finger casualties here). Buggy enjoys taking her time sniffing every interesting smell the world has to offer, because at 8 years old she knows there’s no need to rush greatness. Her hobbies include: daily strolls, serious booty scratches, and perfecting the art of relaxation. Buggy isn’t asking for much — just a comfy couch, a few leisurely walks, and someone to love her forever. And honestly? She’s earned it.

Story
Meet Pippa – Professional Snack Detective Pippa is a gentle little introvert with a big soft heart and an even bigger appreciation for snacks. At 2 years old, she’s mastered the art of being adorably shy while quietly plotting her next treat acquisition. When it’s time to leash up, Pippa can be a tiny bit head shy — she just prefers a polite introduction and maybe a snack-based negotiation. Honestly? Same, girl. But once she knows you’re on her team (and possibly holding treats), she relaxes quickly and becomes the sweetest, most affectionate companion. Pippa is highly treat motivated and absolutely thrives when given the opportunity to forage. Toss a few goodies in the grass and she’ll happily put her detective skills to work, sniffing and exploring like a tiny, wiggly truffle hunter. She loves taking her time to check out her surroundings — every leaf and blade of grass deserves a proper investigation. She can be shy or cautious when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and you’ll be rewarded with the best part: the lean. Pippa leans in for pets like she’s trying to merge with you. It’s her signature move. Once she trusts you, she’s incredibly affectionate, easy to handle, and so very sweet. She also knows “sit” (especially if you’re holding a treat — she’s not new here). If you’re looking for a gentle, snack-powered sweetheart who will bond closely and reward your patience with full-body lean-ins and soft, loving eyes, Pippa is ready to quietly steal your heart.

Story
Bastian is a sweet soul who was saved by HIGH DESERT DOBERMAN RESCUE. He came into the rescue completely shut down but his foster says they really can't believe he's the same dog that first arrived in their home. He's blossomed into a really great dog! Bastian is a wonderful companion who is good with other dogs of all sizes. He is crate and potty trained and knows "sit" - he's got that one down! He is just over a year old and 70-ish lbs. He's a tall guy and loves pets. He's not great on car rides yet, but hopefully he will be when he has more fun ones that don't involve vet visits. Bastian is great on leash and really loves walks. Schedule a meet and greet soon!
