Meet Daphne!Personality: Athletic Treat MonsterLikes: Zoomies and PlaytimeDaphne is a fun-loving Rottweiler mix with energy to spare and a smile that’s impossible to resist. She loves to zoom around the play yard… and then zoom some more, just in case she missed a spot. Her adorable lopsided ears give her extra charm and perfectly match her goofy, happy spirit. Daphne knows sit, is very treat-motivated, and is always ready for her next adventure or game.Fun Fact: Those uneven ears make every zoomie run even cuter (and maybe faster!)If you’re looking for an active, playful companion who brings nonstop joy and laughs, Daphne is ready to race right into your heart.

Meet Batman!Personality: Gentle Goof in DisguiseLikes: Treat diplomacy and WigglesBatman is a beautiful Rottweiler mix with a heart as big as his soft, squishy head. He can be a little shy at first, but a few tasty treats work like magic—once he knows you’re a friend, he’s completely yours. He’s the perfect “smaller Rottie” size, making him a great fit for someone who loves the breed’s look and loyalty in a slightly more compact package. When Batman relaxes and lets his guard down, his true personality comes out in the form of happy wiggles, playful energy, and sweet moments that make you feel extra special for earning his trust.Fun Fact: Batman’s wiggles are activated the moment he decides you’re part of his inner circle. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who blossoms with patience and kindness, Batman is ready to be your hero—no cape required.

Meet Tank – Your New Best Walking BuddyTank is a 6-year-old male Rottweiler with a soft heart, steady paws, and a curious nose that loves discovering the world around him. He walks beautifully on leash and enjoys strolls where he can sniff, explore, and take in all the good smells life has to offer. Tank was surrendered by his previous owner due to life circumstances, but he comes with a great history of training and manners. He is housetrained and crate trained, walks well on leash, has had obedience training, does not escape, and is not destructive. This gentle guy is wonderfully polite with treats, taking them with the softest mouth. He especially loves enrichment time, like working on a snuffle mat and searching for hidden goodies. Tank leans into affection, happily soaking up pets and seeking out your attention. With his calm, mellow nature, Tank shines brightest with someone kind, patient, and loving. If you’re looking for a loyal, steady-hearted companion who is ready to share gentle adventures and quiet moments, Tank is ready to be your devoted friend.

Meet Wiggle Worm -- happy-go-lucky boy!True to his namesake, this sweetheart is bursting with joy, enthusiasm, and nonstop wiggles. He’s the kind of dog who leans all the way in for pets, greets life with full-body excitement, and spreads happiness wherever his giant paws land. Wiggle Worm is a true toy enthusiast and proudly runs a one-dog circus. He absolutely loves toys and can happily entertain himself, tossing, chewing, and playing with them for hours. When playtime winds down, he’s just as content soaking up attention and affection from his people. He’s a smart cookie, too. Wiggle Worm already knows sit and down and has shown that he’s easily trainable, especially when training is fun and engaging. He’s strong on leash and brings plenty of enthusiasm to walks, so an adopter who enjoys working with an energetic, powerful pup will be a great match.Wiggle Worm was recently adopted for a few days, but it wasn’t the right fit for them. During his time in a home, his adopters reported that he is housetrained, loves car rides, and is very loving and gentle for his size. This joyful goofball would thrive in an active home with adults or older children who are ready for play, training, and lots of laughs. If you’re looking for a big-hearted companion who will love you with his whole body (and then some), Wiggle Worm is ready to wiggle his way into your life!

Story
A bit bashful Boone here. That name comes from French for “good” and “blessing” and “kind”. This whole shelter thing is new to me so I’m a bit timid but warm up quickly. My walkers say I’m a dream on leash and prefer a nice strolling pace. Once I get to know you, I’ll show you my wiggle and sweet, affectionate well-mannered “good boy” self. I may need a short transition period as I learn a new routine, but with just a little patience, my affectionate nature will shine through. I’m ready for a second chance at a forever home where I can show my love and be loved. Please check me out and bring the family and other pups for a “Meet & Greet”. If you’re looking for Mr. Mellow, I’m your guy. A team member shares, "I walked Boone yesterday and what a delightful big boy. His desire for affection made for a great walk. He just soaked up the pets on his chin. The look in his eyes made me realize Boone would easily adapt to a new home with ample affection. Because Boone responds so well to affection I can't imagine he would have a hard time adapting to new surroundings. The way Boone responded to sit and lay down commands, I realized Boone wants to please."

Story
Jango is a sweet, goofy guy looking for a forever home with his new best friend. Could you be the perfect human to take him home? He is a sweet, young, and energetic pup! He loves treats and and knows how to sit on command... and is ready to learn more tricks too. Jango would do best with a dog who allows him to play at his own pace and would love to meet your dog before going home! A team member says, "Jango is a sweet, sweet boy. He adores spending time with human friends and checks in with you frequently for pets and affection, which is nice because this boy has the softest fur! He walks very nicely on a leash, and he knows how to sit. If you're looking for a new BFF, Jango is your guy."

Story
❤️❤️❤️❤️Tesha❤️❤️❤️❤️ Tesha is an approximately 1-year-old, 50lb female. She has a silly playful puppy personality still. She is shy at first and takes about a week to warm up. She’s very sweet and once she loves you she will always be by your side. She loves to cuddle in bed with her head on your shoulder. She’s afraid of the leash and walking so it’s something we’re working on. She’s good with other dogs & will thrive in a home where there are other pups to help build her confidence. She’s cat & kid friendly, we’re working on potty training. If you are interested in meeting this sweet soul email us at abarkingchance@gmail.com
