He is dog friendly and falls into the EXTRA friendly category — he genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs and does well in social settings. Rocky has not been cat tested at this time. He has started kennel training and is doing well so far. With consistency and a regular routine, he should continue to make great progress. Rocky is good on leash, though due to his enthusiasm, a no-pull harness is strongly recommended to help make walks more enjoyable for both him and his handler. When it comes to food, Rocky is not food aggressive, but to set him up for success, it is recommended that he be fed separately from other pets. Rocky has a hyper, playful side, especially when he’s excited, but the great news is that he calms down very easily and responds well to redirection and structure. He’s the kind of dog who just needs a little outlet for his energy and then is happy to relax and be close to his people. He is approximately 91% potty trained and continues to improve. With a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement, he should be fully reliable in no time. Overall, Rocky is a loving, enthusiastic dog who would thrive in a home that can provide guidance, exercise, and lots of affection. He has so much love to give and is eager to be someone’s companion.
