Story
Sam is an older dog that still believes he is a puppy. At 10 years old, Sam is playful and loving. We call him a big teddy bear. He is a special guy. He has Rottweiler instincts and will protect his home, but he is a happy and joyful pup who loves attention. Parting with Sam breaks our heart, but due to circumstances out of our control, we are not able to keep him in the family. Sam's story: Sam belonged to my father. October of last year, my father was in a tragic car accident that caused him to be paralyzed. Sam lost is buddy that day, as my father was no longer able to play with him or care for him. In March, my father passed away due to complications of his condition. Sam has been with my dad since his puppy days. We love him like a member of our family. Unfortunately, with my father now gone, we are unable to care for him how he needs. We've done what we can to keep him healthy and happy up to this point. Sam needs a loving home that can give him the attention he deserves.

Story
This cute girl is quite spunky and ready to romp and play at the drop of a hat.  She does have a sweet and sleepy side too!  She is good with other dogs.  She is a little too interested in cats so that would be something to keep in mind.  She learns pretty fast and is food motivated.  She will grow up to be a big girl so will need appropriate training. June 3, 2024, 10:54 am

Our rescue took him in immediately and learned he is heartworm positive, sadly. We're having that treated, getting him plenty of small meals throughout the day and he should be ready for his furever home by the end of April. His $200 adoption fees include: neuter, vaccines, deworming, microchip and all medical treatment necessary for heartworms. **PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS CAN TAKE UP TO 5 DAYS. Story
*WE'RE A FOSTER-BASED RESCUE, NOT A SHELTER* (We don't have a facility) Sir Cleetus was found near Lake Stanley Draper in central Oklahoma, likely the victim of getting dumped. We took him in, once a foster home was secured, and he's been absolutely thriving! He's excellent with all her other dogs (2 are Great Danes) and her cats, plus he's patient with kids. He is shy when he first meets strangers, but will come around. There's no telling how he was treated when he was on his own. If you'd like to make Sir Cleetus part of your family furever, please apply on our website: shelterfriends.org Applications take around 5 days for processing, and then we'll email you. Make sure to add our email address to your contacts so our messages won't go to spam: shelterfriendsok@gmail.com Thank you!

Story
**WE ARE NOT A SHELTER - WE'RE A FOSTER-BASED RESCUE* The Classic Cars litter were born November 12th, 2023 to a Rottweiler mother, but by the looks of them we think they have 2-3 different dads and no clue on their breeds. An elderly man who was once homeless took in their mama because he knew how it felt and couldn't bare to see her suffer out in the cold. They've all been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped so all they need now is a family of their own! Keep in mind that young puppies require lots of patience and time to learn house manners and proper obedience. If interested in adopting please apply on our website: SHELTERFRIENDS.ORG Processing takes 1-5 days and then we'll email you (add shelterfriendsok@gmail.com to your contacts to avoid our messages going to your spam folder).
